Born and raised in Southern California, Kellye moved to New York City to pursue a degree in film and television at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (BFA January 2010). She has directed dozens of short films/television projects, including a music video for the Irish band Yngve and the Innocent for their song "Little Boy." The video was nominated for Best Video by a Solo Male Artist at the 2009 Irish Music Television Awards. She was the sole producer on all her NYU projects and has produced several other short films and web series as well. As a student, Kellye interned for Third Point Productions and the PR firm, Rogers and Cowan, working on publicity campaigns for such films as THE AGE OF STUPID. After completing her degree, Kellye returned to LA and worked for Verve, a literary agency formed by former WME agents Bill Weinstein, Adam Levine and Bryan Besser. Following her tenure at Verve, she assisted producer Julie Yorn on the set of Cameron Crowe's WE BOUGHT A ZOO with Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson. After production wrapped on ZOO, Kellye began working for producer Zanne Devine. She spent 2 years serving as an assistant, and consulting for Miramax as their development coordinator. Kellye was then promoted to Development Executive, focusing on feature films development and production, as well as stage rights and development. She simultaneously supported the television and acquisitions teams. She's worked with such writers and directors as David Wolstencroft, Ol Parker, Max Minghella, Shauna Cross, Kieran Darcy Smith, and Matthew Quick. Select film credits include MR HOLMES (2015), THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX (2016), BAD SANTA 2 (2016), I, TONYA (2017), 54: THE DIRECTOR'S CUT (2015), NEEDLE IN A TIMESTACK (development), and HALLOWEEN (development). In 2018, Kellye relocated to London, and spent 3 years as a freelance script editor and script consulting before returning in house as a film development executive.
Kellye served as a member of the Tisch West Alumni Council and mentor for the NYU in Tisch Mentor Program in Los Angeles, and recently co-founded the London Tisch Alumni Group in the UK. In addition, she has volunteered for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society, and Elephant Nature Park in Thailand. She is also a supporter of the Antarctic Heritage Trust, following a visit to Antarctica in 2018.
Kellye lives in London. She speaks English and French fluently, and is proficient in both Irish Gaelic and Spanish. She holds both an EU and US passport.
